Technology - Work & Peace

How and where we work is changing, bringing new needs and wants driven by our desire for peace of mind, comfort, and security.
Technology - Work & Peace

We all go to work, for some that’s the office, for others a workshop, construction site, or even the road or skies. Wherever you work, it’s often not the same as home, yes… even if you work from home, we find spaces to Work at home, the kitchen table, a converted bedroom as a home office. We all need a space to work, and where we work is important.

Work plays an ever-evolving role in our lives; you only need to look a few decades back to see people’s identities and lives defined by what they do for work. And now, faster, and accelerated through the global COVID-19 pandemic, work has shed its dependency on offices to ask what works best for us and what we do.

Since the earliest customer comments on our portable display technologies, users have used words to describe their experience like ‘seamless’, ‘simple’, and ‘peace-of-mind’. These typically (I’m looking at you, printers…) are not how most people would describe their technology. This is what led us to industry experts to discuss the matter in more depth, to better understand the relationship our customers have with our products.

Brian Solis is a global authority on innovation, helping teams and businesses work to their peak performance. He has been at the centre of the most important shifts in work for many years and lives and breathes his subject matter.
